Atramentumia Accuses Porcuis of Spying Amid Ink Tariff Dispute

The Atramentumian government has accused Porcuis of espionage following the discovery of a surveillance drone near its largest ink production facility in the capital, Baarrttaa. Officials allege the drone was conducting reconnaissance on sensitive industrial operations as tensions rise over Porcuis’ recent 15% tariff on Atramentumian ink exports.

Atramentumia’s Ministry of Defense released a statement claiming that the drone’s origin has been traced back to Porcuis, citing “clear evidence” of its involvement. “This is a blatant act of aggression and an attack on our sovereignty,” said Minister Ada Vexlar in a press briefing.

Porcuis has denied the allegations, dismissing them as “baseless provocations” intended to divert attention from the ongoing trade dispute. “We categorically reject these claims and demand concrete evidence,” said a spokesperson for Porcuis’ government.

The Plush World Council is calling for restraint as fears grow that this incident could escalate into a broader conflict between the PWAT and JAFT alliances. Luma, a leading PWAT member, has offered to mediate discussions to avoid further deterioration in relations.

Meanwhile, security has been heightened across Atramentumia’s industrial zones, with anti-drone systems deployed to prevent further incidents. Analysts warn that this development could significantly impact global ink markets if tensions continue to escalate.
